I think I will use tumblr now. More community over there and isn't that what the internet is all about?

Varg is Free
Last Night I dreamed of Two Bros
In my dream I was walking down St. Marks for 2 slices from Two Bros. I got there and something was a bit off. The sign was exactly the same but instead of saying Two Bros it said Three Bros. I went inside and saw something terribly wrong, instead of the affable Mexicans who usually great me, it was staffed by a bunch of Indians. I asked for 2 slices and a coke, you know how much it cost? $5.50. I guess it was a nightmare.

Ireland: Back to the Bad Old Days
“I left a godly land of broke but merry alcoholics and came back to a place where people who used to dig potatoes were buying luxury apartments sight unseen and driving Porsches.”
Good read from a New York Times blog.

I Love Television, I Love Cigarettes, I Love Drinking, and Football
Number 1: Me
If I'm at a celebrity football match and I am up against somebody from the Kaiser Chiefs, then they're going to a hospital.

Don't talk bad about Islam
This is probably the stupidest and most offensive UN Resolution I have ever seen, including those drafted by the fourteen year olds at the Hershey Model U.N. conference I attended in high school. The drafters of this resolution (Pakistan) really want to have it both ways. Their religion is inherently insulting to all others but no one should be allowed to criticize it.
I guess if they get it passed no one can make cartoons like these anymore.

A Book On the Subject, A Beer in Her Hand
The Embarrassment are the greatest band that no one knows about. As you can see from this video, aside from their sick riffs they have a very good sense of humor. They don't take themselves seriously at all, and they shouldn't because popular musicians really shouldn't be taken seriously. They are now high school teachers, airline employees, and "businessmen". Everyone should know and love them.

The Machine that Will Kill You
I predict humanity will be wiped out by these sorts of things one day very soon.
Dumb People Listen to Lil' Wayne
Saw this study where a guy took people's favorite music on facebook and compared it to the average sat score at their school. It is pretty funny.

When I Was Drinking
Today an English dude said to me, "Watch out sonny, smoking stunts your growth." I am pretty sure it was a joke because I am tall.
Now a video from the Germans, the traditional enemies of the British. If I am ever in Hamburg the Miniatur Wunderland will be at the top of my list of attractions to enjoy. As the video explains, it is "the largest model railway in the world and one of the most popular tourist attractions in Germany."
Now for Germany's finest musical genre, Krautrock. These are the 50 Best Albums in Krautrock according to some guy named Julian Cope. I don't totally agree with him because he does not include Can's "Future Days", but I don't have the time to compile such a list so I will cease criticizing him.
This is a video that some guy, not Julian Cope, made for Moonshake which is on Future Days and is a damn fine song. The man who made the video doesn't let the whole song play but it is more entertaining than watching a video that just has the album cover static in the background the whole song.

Le Plus Petit Zidane
Some elements of the internet at saying this kid is the next Zidane. Regardless, the kid is six years old and is already a better dribbler than I am.
And while I have now called two people Le Petit Zidane, there is actually a kid more deserving of that title because he is Zidane's son, Enzo Zidane.
I will try to write less about soccer, I promise.
